Summer Camp

German Summer Adventure Camp

For students aged 12 – 17 years, this course is a perfect combination of lessons and fun! The course combines formal classroom tuition with a varied programme of leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce the students to German culture, sports and life all while based on the beautiful Lake Spitzingsee close to the Austrian border!

This course is available between 29/06/2025 – 03/08/2025 and runs from Sunday to Sunday.

Please note that the minimum stay is 2 weeks.

Location

Set just north of the Alps, the Bavarian capital city Munich is a stunning place to visit. It is the third largest German city behind Berlin and Hamburg and benefits from being well connected and modern yet still hosts a wealth of historic and beautiful buildings.

The camp is set against the beautiful Lake Spitzingsee, a stunning lake in the Schliersee Mountains within the Bavarian Alps. An hours drive south of Muinch, the lake offers perfect peace and quiet and the unique space it provides is well suited for adventure and activities. Being the highest mountain lake in Bavaria, it is one of the clearest in the alps and is surrounded by views of the Mangfall Mountains.

Language Course

The language course comprises 20 lessons of 45 minutes length each, which concentrate on learning and actively using German. The school caters for students with a basic level of German to more advanced German speakers. The tuition is very much practice oriented, you will participate in group sessions alongside other students of a similar level, with lessons focused on improving all aspects of the language; speaking listening, reading and writing. There are 4 classes per day and these take place during the morning. Outside of lesson times there is a varied programme of leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce you to German culture, sports and lifestyles.
